The wire which connects to screen never continued installation to run it up back of dashboard so wire ran up right in front To the side of steering wheel up to dash. Today was that day it got done right!
Your so right. It’s an easy fix. I had 2 grommets, but both were 2 big I’ll be hitting home depot or one of the central automotive stores and see what they have. The putty isn’t putty. It’s easy to shape for blocking out light used in modelrailroading lol and it’s easily removable and only temp my friend. I’m very detailed and particular but I deserved that. I put it out there. Lol thanks buddy! I saw them take out the stereo on you tube and said. Hey maybe I can reach the area I need and man was that last 6 inch’s a bitch! Seriously couldn’t get to it from inside so as you saw from pics I passed it through then lifted up in between were I was pushing cable in with all my might. Was a little easier as I used the specialty tools you see them use taking apart panels so they won’t scratch. So I lifted and pushed cable underneath until it was all under there. I was like wheeeeeeew I didn’t drill hole for nothing lol. Thanks for your kind words. You to can do much of these installs. Watch you tube installations and you will see for yourself ! I had the exact problem. I really like the end results.Installed a Warn VR 10-S today with the Warn steel bumper winch adapter. Was pretty painless until I went to install the fair lead and the bolts were to short. I'm glad I went with the VR over the Zeon because I had plenty of room to work and this should do me just fine. Ran to lowes and grabbed some hardware.
