Hmm, I guess its psychological, to keep your foot down on the clutch they make you hold the button. I can't remember if it was the same with the Manual Ram 2500 I test drove last year.

My WK (with key) is a simple momentary tap, but there's like a 5 second delay before I can pull it out of Park, or any electronics come on. Quick getaways are out of the question. Frustrating.

Edit: I'm forced to start the car, then buckle up, switch to sunglasses, adjust my junk, check the mirrors, put my right foot in, sip some coffee, check my mascara, cuss, and then try 73 times to get it in gear before I can move.
