Ok, now the watch is on for soft top, and/or manual JL's! I'm guessing a couple weeks, but who knows? They may be opening the flood gates and moving quickly!

Their search doesn't show 4EA sold orders! Only dealer orders!

Not going to lie. I'm a little disappointed that we have dozens of vehicles ordered as early as October by members of this site and none (maybe 1?) is being shipped and yet hundreds are going out to dealers.

So how is koons able to do it..


I am NOT getting in to a them versus us debate........ But let me first start with if I charge you a "$699 processing fee" (+who knows whatever fees)you didn't buy the Jeep for 5%under invoice;).....What was it that PT Barnum said?
"Price INCLUDES freight and excludes your state's taxes, tags and $699 processing."

Yep, that's closer to 3%. Once again, car dealers reinforce their bad reputation. We'll see what my dealer does. I do think a small fee for the title is ok. Other fees are BS, especially if you are paying outright and not borrowing.

All dealers are are not engaged in this kind of deception. And its wrong for you to lump all"dealers" all together like that. I'm sure you are a great dealer but trashing another dealer on the site is not a good look.
I am not trying to trash anybody just pointing out the obvious......How can anybody think they are getting 5% below invoice when their ad clearly stated that they are going to charge you a "processing fee" of $699.......:headbang:

Everyone recognizes that is a higher fee. It has been beat to death. It is still an extremely good deal with that factored in.

Because that fee is a flat fee, the more expensive the vehicle the better the deal is. That makes sense. 1% of $40,000 is $400. Most dealers charge at least $200 to $300 dealer fees, so the $700 fee still leaves it around 4% under invoice without any prequalifications, memberships, dealer financing, or need to haggle. That is still appealing to a lot of people.
