Like our videos at Smuggs, the camera greatly underestimates the hills. Couple that with people who don't understand the need to throttle up before you get to the foot of a hill, and you get slowdowns with the need to pass shortly thereafter up a hill.

Actually, I bet your *other* vehicle would enjoy this road a bit. Lots of people with Audis, BMWs, Benzs, etc. weaving too. Don't get me wrong, it's a fun ride. Just maybe not the optimal use of Gabby's skillset.

Ah, ok. That makes more sense now. We have some awesome roads around here for the other vehicle.

Sharp braking followed by the need to accelerate again means you need to downshift and brake at the same time. Usually in turns.

Short version is that you downshift with your left foot as usual, but you use your right foot to hit the brake steady and blip the gas to rev match the engine. While turning the wheel as required and shifting down with your right hand. All at the same time.

Not something you get overnight apparently.

for when you downshift a manual, revmatching makes it less "Jerky" and smooths out the shift.
