That’s too bad...So I'm not the only one with this problem, it seems that when you have it on defrost setting it only knows two things, how to be really hot and how to be really cold. It doesn't seem to know how to do a comfortable middle.

I haven't done much with it as most of the time I've owned the Jeep has been in the summer but the gist of the programming is, I'm guessing....So I'm not the only one with this problem, it seems that when you have it on defrost setting it only knows two things, how to be really hot and how to be really cold. Yes...your point?Heel toe? as far as I know that's only useful if you're doing hard driving on a track and need to rev match as you're braking for a curve... real world Wrangler driving? shouldn't be much of an issue.

I'm pretty sure my 8 speed will handle that parkway pretty well! lolYes...your point?
I find it useful for exit ramps around here...they're short and sharp (easy, @Billy ).
Also, if you ever come up here, try the Taconic Parkway...55mph, foothills, sharp twists and turns, 10ft lanes.
Seems as though your mind is made up and you’re Colorado boundAlso Minnesota is not doing a very good job of convincing us to stay![]()
Sharp braking followed by the need to accelerate again means you need to downshift and brake at the same time. Usually in turns. What is this heel toe you speak of?

That parkway makes me wish I had an A4 or similar sometimes. In a Wrangler, even with the JL's improved handling, it's two very tightly gripped hands on that steering wheel.I'm pretty sure my 8 speed will handle that parkway pretty well! lol
I see...hell, I may do that...I dunno.Sharp braking followed by the need to accelerate again means you need to downshift and brake at the same time. Usually in turns.
Short version is that you downshift with your left foot as usual, but you use your right foot to hit the brake steady and blip the gas to rev match the engine. While turning the wheel as required and shifting down with your right hand. All at the same time.
Not something you get overnight apparently.![]()
True, true.me neither, basically only used on a track.
...Or if you're learning from a guy that drives a GTI.![]()
