If it's just plastic on the metal stem there is no worry. If the plastic is electroplated then there could be the potential for something like this to happen.
Are they 12.5 or 13.5 wide?Yesterday, I got my BFG KO2s replaced (tire defects) for a set of SSt PROs and couldn't be happier. They ride well, they don't wobble like the ko2's and they're literally an INCH taller than the KO2s which measure 35.1" (in the 37" size). Oh and I got $250 refunded.

I haven’t taken off the rear bottom piece because it seemed like I’d loose the inner liners. How did you retain them?Removed the lower portion of my rear fenders to better clear the 40's. I have the Artec fender chop kit for the front sitting on my desk. I'm just waiting on my Inner liners to show up and decide on how to handle the lighting situation.
Cool pic35s with wheels and a bumper with a winch! Kind of disappointed in the color of the wheels. They are suppose to be gunmetal, but look more silver. I think a darker gunmetal would look awesome with Sting-Gray.. I'll be testing some dip! :cwl:
