What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Just finished ! Long sweaty day in NY. Stopped for lunch and a couple
If water breaks. Installed Cobra CB. Running wire, running cable, drilling for installation of Antenna, relocating hi-lift to be lower to allow garage access, installing rhino Shovel bracket JK bracket refrabricated to fit my JL wrangler! All finished. Check out the photos.

What did you need to do to make the shovel mount fit?

I see what your saying. That is a bit confusing. On the company info page they do reference Fox Racing and Suspension but don't ever say they are affiliated.

Yeahh...I they are different. Their logos are entirely different and so are the company names.

Project follow up.. Finished the front part of the sleeping platform. Front has two parts. One part remains in place over folded rear seats and doesn’t interfere with front seat movement. When ready to sleep front seats are moved forward and small cut out is set in place and is supported by rope hooked around seat tabs (they are plenty strong enough to support the platform). This small cut out stores easily behind front seats during the day. Still have to paint the platform black and add black carpet top covering! Loving my “motor home”.

@jmcdtucson , did they put any coating on the black items (fenders, hardtop bumpers) or do they usually only do the red?. Just curious. Looks great!

Well, changed my setup to 315/70/17 ko2 with warlords from 35x12.5r18 and armory wheels. Essentially did the switch just because of the change of load range, i went from E to C. The ride quality is so much better, i feel the truck way lighter, better handling and softer suspension. Im equipped with RC 2.5 inch budget lift. I think im close to 90% of the stock feel. The only downfall is that lost half inch in tire size comparing 35 versus 34.4 and 12.5 vs 12.4 wide and it makes it look a tad less aggresive but well worth the change.

I've driven next to you on the highway on our way out to Coney Island for a concert. LOL Traffic was shitty enough that I got to check your ride out pretty good. Right before the merge before the Jamaica exits, actually. #EffTheVanWyck

DId you install 20% tint on top of the OEM tint or your installer was able to install a tint that equals 20% including the OEM tint?

It’s 20% on top of the factory privacy glass and 20% on the clear front doors

How do you like not having a spare.

It’s not bad. I’ll be replacing the tire carrier soon with either a beefed up tailgate mount or a bumper mounted tire carrier. I mainly drive close to home, if I’m going on a trip I throw the spare in the back. I like the piece of mind of having the spare. Took it off because the weight was causing the tailgate to run the tub.

Added DV8 rear bumper and D rings.
Relocated plate with added brake light and white LED plate lights.
Wired in reverse cube lights.
Added DV8 front skid.
