If this is true, it probably rules out the 2019 Sport S offering LEDs as an option as well.

They have plenty for production - they’re just not using any for parts - a shame

I went to Jeep.com live chat earlier to check on the progress of my JLUR that I ordered on 8/8. I was expecting bad news after reading this thread yesterday, I was surprised to find out my Jeep is built and expected to ship in a day or two. I ask about the LED package being on backorder and they replied that they where not aware of it. I’m guessing if you talk to 5 different customer service reps you’ll get 5 different answers.

I ordered mine in August 11 and they would not allow the build with LED’s. The dealer could not pick that option.

I hope the representative I was chatting with was correct with the info on mine. I’ll believe it when the dealer calls me to pick it up.

i would think they're priority is fill the lots with JL's with these amazing LEDs only and NOT worry about selling them individually. which is odd because they are losing money!

well the uncertainty sucks but i feel that if you built yours with these LEDs then you will get them they are only filling orders for JLs and not selling outright
