LED Back Up lights dim

I have a 2018 Wrangler JL Sport. I recently installed a pair of Oracle Black Series LED Tail Lights. The back up lights on this are very dim. I was wondering if I need to have LED Tail Light code flashed at the dealer? I noticed a similar issue when I installed Mopar LED Head lights. They were dim until I have the code flashed at the dealer.
I guess the real question is are there separate codes for different light sets?

AFAIK the reverse lights are dim on the OEM tails too, just the way they are
