My wife asked me what i want to do for my 50th next year, if I want to go to Europe? Nah, been there done that! I missed the Rubicon trip last year so i told her i want to do it this year, and yeah, i guess bring her and the kids too *sigh*

so just posting this early so people are aware of the dates and to prepare. Ive been busy buying stuff to beef my jeep up.

keep in mind, you only have to register 1 ticket/person to lock your spot in. You essentially lock in a spot for your jeep.
You can add more people at the end. If $ is tight due to holidays or whatever.

im going to just grab one for now so i dont have to cough up $1800 right now! Or, if i decide to pull a Tom Brady later and say “fck them kids”

maybe next year ill go for the no kids, adult version.

who’s with me?!

There is a good chance I will be attending again. Planning on getting a spot in Jan when things cool down with costs

Should I do the jamboree or do an intimate group again for Rubicon?

Were you there?!?? That’s exactly what I was thinking as I went deeper. Now I know, you are supposed to cross the train tracks.

I thought I would do the Rubicon someday with a small band of trusty companions, but I’ve seen nothing but praise from you guys about these organized runs.

I’m generally not a fan of crowds. Also sounds like they like to keep things moving on these JJs…

Is it the amenities that make it worth it?

Haha right?!? In all fairness I was in the Ram not the jeep (still no excuse) but I took the wrong route and ended up here

Cool pic. Looks like Mars.

Answers my question whether it was sand or mud disguised as hard pack.

im down for both. This one is great for family time and they have mechanics on hand in case you get into real trouble. Lots of good food and stuff to keep the kids busy. And it doesnt get overwhelmingly crowded like the adults only jamboree.

for a first time on the rubicon it would be nice to go with pro spotters and mechanics. It would certainly make going in a small group later much easier.

but im also down to go in a small group beforehand as well. This jamboree would be more like family vacation with the jeep. I wouldnt make y’all (especially me!) miserable by dragging my wife and kids along in a small group setting :headbang:  :bandit:
