This is a video of Switzerland Trail and some nearby trails from yesterday, Sunday October 19th. It includes Sugarloaf Mountain, Switzerland Trail, Pennsylvania Gulch, Switzerland North, Knob Hill, and Sawmill Gulch. The video is pretty long (37 minutes), but might be useful for someone interested in these trails.

My 2025 2-door JL on a 3.5" lift and 37s is overkill for these trails, but you can see some more stock Jeeps throughout the video. It's probably only interesting if you're checking recent trail conditions and/or interested in checking out this area.

Ran that area a few years ago a couple months after I got my JLUR. We were up there in may so nothing on the other side of the pass was really open yet. Not very technical but funs trails to explore.

That was the first trail I did here after moving to CO in June and also added Spring Gulch to it as well.

Hello from Severance!!

Did you stop at Mt Alto? One of these weekends, I'm planning on having a fire in the remaining fireplace up there. Starting to get cold now, will have to bring lots of warm clothes.

Yep. Our group stopped there for lunch.

It's definitely getting colder out now. We'll be bundling up for a group night ride tonight. I always like to be dressed for the weather even if we're planning to stay in the rig -- you never know. I'm not sure how many more rides we'll get in before it's snow wheeling season. I think I'm going to leave the JL setup for warmer conditions and use my 4Runner a lot in the snow unless it gets too deep -- then the JL with more clearance might be better.

That's the place!! I definitely want to wheel up there this winter and have a fire.
