It was our 36 year wedding anniversary yesterday. Loaded my wife in the Jeep and cruised back roads, primarily dirt roads for most of the day. We did stop off at a gun store and buy 10mm ammo, actually found a large sale that was open on a Tuesday way out on a dirt road. Bought some new shop rages and Carla bought to skirt for about $2. Eventually ended up at REI in Grand Rapids were Carla scored a nike pair or Altra trail running hiking shoes for %70 off.

What a great day. We finished it up with a four mile hike at one of our favorite local trails.
Ted, on the subject of guns/ammo, thanks for the Sig P365 recommendation. I went out with my youngest son yesterday shopping (the gun aficionado in the family). Thought I'd lean towards Glocks but they all felt like I was holding a square block for a grip, P365 felt much better.

Narrowed it down to the P365, P226/9 and the Walther PDP series (Walther felt good to). Scheduled a range shoot to figure out which one, P365 is the favorite so far (although being a traditional person the curved trigger on the 226/229 looks better:)).

I know my wife would not be thrilled with either but the gun shop showed me the S&W Shield EZ which was nice for something small and easy to handle so I even have her interested. I was sure the most I could ever get her comfortable with was a Byrna non-lethal pistol.

Oh, the guy also showed me some Kimbers - beautiful weapons but they are proud of the work at $2100:).

My old man upgraded to the newest 365 Xmacro whatever the new best one is and passed on the older 365 Xmacro to me and I love the pistol. Shoots fantastic.

My wife's most favorite firearm is an EZ in .380 caliber and with a manual safety. It's EZ for her to rack the slide and it has been very reliable.

I had a problem once on my LJ. The bleeder screws were not on the top. I flopped them and everything was fine after that.
I let the calipers hang wile I did everything. I just put them on loosely because of the senser install. I would check that. I assume you took out the pink stoppers.
Thats all I can think of. Hope it helps
Yeah, I took out the stoppers. Tho one had fallen out on the drive home. At least, I think it fell out. You don't think that it could have got jammed down in there do you?

The bleeder should always be on the top.

The bleed screw is on the top on the XR rear calipers but on the bottom on the fronts, which are the same on both axles. Maybe I'll see if I can flip them.

One suggestion in my thread was to take them off and use some steel bar to simulate the rotors between the pads.

The bleeder should be at the top always, otherwise air cant escape out the top, so swap the front calipers left to right and that should fix your bleeding problems.

The bleeders are on the bottom on Cessna 172 calipers. 😂

I mean technically they are on the bottom of all air plane calipers if they are being flown upside down.

But seriously how the fuck do you bleed that?

Solution: drill hole in top, add new bleeder. Now you can bleed them from the top AND bottom. Extra good bleed
