Yeah, looking for low poke options is not really a jeep thing. Even the factory 35" package is poke even though it changes the scrub angle quite a bit:

Jeep Wrangler JL Wrangler wheel offset and poke question? 1748287809115-32

you can spend some time on willtheyfit.com or similar and see the effect.

An 'ideal' wheel for 35's with minimal poke might be something like 17x8 30mm to 35mm offset, but even that will have a bit of poke.

AEV did the math and came up with wheels that have 25mm offset so a bit less than others.

Honestly i don't think it has the wider rubi axles but not 100 percent sure..Is there a way to find out by either measuring or some other way? the thing is that i dont care for all black wheels which is what came on the willys so i was going to get new wheels anyway but its hard finding a wheel i like with similar offset to the factory wheels
Build sheet will give you the axles.

https://www.jeep.com/webselfservice/BuildSheetServlet?vin=

just put you vin after the = and drop in browser address bar.

ok so if im undertanding you correctly the wheel in this pic is a 17x8.5 and a positive 25mm offset and its a rubi with wider axles than a 24 willys ? so if i go with a 12mm positive offset and its the same 8.5 width it should have less poke than in your pick?
No 8.5” -1 mm is even with the XR extensions. I don’t know how much more narrow the narrow axles are. So use the 1” = 25 mm to adjust accordingly if you know, someone will tell you if you don’t and ask. Yes, Rubi fenders, you will also need the difference for an exact fitting if you want to be precise. It’s quite possible the narrow axles and more narrow fenders will be ballpark with the pics. Sorry I don’t know the numbers, many do.

the rubicon axles are 1.5" wider than sport axles so 3/4" per side.

Does the fact that wheel is 8.5 vs 7.5 factor into the the amount of poke as well? is that 1 inch wider wheel split down the middle also.. with 1/2 inch to the inside and 1/2 inch to the outside?
No because the tire is always wider than the wheel. Imagine if the only thing changed was from 7.5" to 8.5" wheel width, nothing else. The tire would have the same dimensions, but the sidewalls just wouldn't bend in as far to reach the wheel.
