For those who have installed the winch guard, what did you use to remove the factory bolts in the steel bumper? I went at them with the provided Jeep tool and got scared I was going to break it without a budge from the bolts

the jeep toolkit doesn't have the right size. If I remember right I used a T45 3/8 socket and ratchet and plowed right through them. As a time saver if you're not installing a winch at the same time (later for me) go ahead and take the whole top plate out to remove the u style clip on nuts from the 2 spots where no bolts are re-installed. If you don't and keep the top plate in they rattle. I did not and got really good at removing/installing the second time.

I will not be participating in this forum as of 8/31/2018. It's been a fun ride, but it's time to move on. Take care. - Dustin

I know this question isn't for me, but I've hooked up the lights for a few people now and everyone seems to love them.

Man that is tight ass. Did those come on the steps or add-ons?

I have that gap as well after installing the spare tire relo kit. Do the balls help keep the tire tight I'm assuming?
Yes they do. Works terrific

Did you have a reasoning for hooking it directly to the battery vs finding ignition enabled fuse?
It will help reduce noise / interference.

Are you going to hook up the lights??? Im still stuck on deciding between roam and ace....Any thoughts?
I will eventually hook them up. Want to get a little help as I’m pretty inexperienced when it comes to electrical work. I plugged the holes for now. I was stuck between the two as well. I went with Roam because my wife and kids will use the steps more than I would use sliders.

I put on my hood decals i got from Don @pixeldecals.

Looks awesome. It is the JL Rubicon font with reflective red outline. CI-BORG since I wear CI's (cochlear implant surgery) it only seems fitting as I am a CI-Borg.

Just got my Katskinz leather seats installed. Went with a black and baseball glove brown combo which looks great with the granite chrystal. Here's a pic.

P.S. I made sure they bolted the seats down nice and tight ;)

No "rub" should solely be used when referring to actually flexing the Jeep suspension.

You can hardly bump over a curb before your tires eat your fenders.

Ooo good thing I have a body lift coming but I do like the look at normal driving.
