Hi everyone, first time Wrangler owner here in SoCal. I've owned Jeep vehicles before, and finally bought the model I've always wanted. I'm looking forward to customizing it, and have started looking at lift/wheel/tire options. So far the biggest "mod" has been a Bulletpoint phone mount.

Thanks for the add to this awesome forum. New to the Jeep world purchased a 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara to end 2024 and start 2025.

Vehicle is primarily going to be utilized by my significant other but I’m excited to learn more about Jeeps.

Seems like membership is growing nicely lately but I didn't see an intro thread, so I'll start!

I'm Rob from NY. I daily a Grand Cherokee and got a project TJ SE that I've had for years and will hopefully keep forever. Was considering a JKU as a weekend outdoor activity car for the family, but figured the JL Unlimited is right around the corner so why not wait. Happy to be here for the last few months following all the great news and coverage of the JL Wrangler.
How do I post an introduction?

Hello, everyone! Ted from Wisconsin. First and foremost, thank you for the add!! It’s an an incredible forum with outstanding members from everything I’ve seen so far. I bought my first Wrangler this past August (used) A 22 unlimited altitude with 13k miles. I’ve owned 4 Grand Cherokees up until the Wrangler and it is definitely a different drive and I’m absolutely hooked. First mods?

Teraflex Nexus EF 2.2 stabilizer and definitely worth every cent.
Coverking top liner
Dynamat pro (entire interior)
Dynaliner (doors)
PAC AP4-CH41(R2.1)
PAC APH-CH03
AudioControl Epicenter micro
Alpine S2-A36
Alpine S2-A60
(2) JL Stealthboxes (2 ohm parallel)
JBL Stadium rear
JBL Stadium front
Alien mesh top
RedLine Tuning hood quick lift plus
Falken Wildpeak AT4 32’s
Mopar mats
K&N air filter (extra 80hp) lol
Wireless carplay

Future mods?? A LOT.

Thanks again!

2024 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon
Greetings everyone. Nick here from Boulder City, NV. Not new to Jeeps but new to the forum. I am on my 3rd Wrangler. Currently in a 2024 Unlimited Rubicon with the 35” tire package. So far, I have added a front bumper, winch, and on-board air. Working on getting functional beadlock rings installed. Unfortunately, I purchased the wrong rings almost a year ago and now trying to get the correct ones or looking for someone getting rid of the 25 hole capable wheels.

Hi Everyone, Im very happy , i got my first Wrangler..
I live in Basel, Switzerland
I’ve been considering getting a vehicle with good off-road capabilities for a while, and the more I researched the Wrangler, the more fascinated I became. As a result, I decided to buy a used one (2019 model with 62k miles , 2.0T).
Before handing it over, the dealer performed a major service: they replaced all the batteries, all fluids, and applied an anti-rust coating to the differential transmission to ensure it lasts longer. They also installed new tires and included a brand-new soft top, which I’m excited to try out in the summer.

So far, I’ve discovered only 2 issues, and maybe you can point me to a previous thread or advise on resolution:

1. After parking, when I pull the manual brake, I hear a clear β€œtoc” sound midway through pulling the lever. If I push it back down and pull it again, the sound doesn’t occur, but it happens again after driving and parking. Could this be a worn cable, or is this a known issue? Any ideas?

2. The passenger-side rearview mirror moves horizontally but doesn’t adjust vertically. While it’s not a major issue since I don’t need to adjust it daily, it’s a bit annoying. Does anyone know if this is easy to fix?

A part of these two minor things the machine is really in good status.

I’m looking forward to trying out some mild off-roading in the Alps, where I live. and thank you
Attached a few pix , even though my wrangler looks so vanilla vs the great one i saw on this forum :)

My name is Don.
I have a 19 JLU Rubicon with about 117k miles.
Just spent $11,238 on a new motor.
Thought that I needed a new set of plugs as the #4 cylinder was misfiring. Shortly after
discovering that I overheated and was losing coolant so I thought maybe a blown head gasket. Upon disassembly not only was there a blown head gasket but the mechanic said that the block had a defect that caused it and the cams were gone.
I have since spoken to several other individuals at dealerships and with experience with the v6 Jeep engine and they say this is a common problem.
Was wondering how Jeep can keep using this engine with these known defects without a recall!

Sorry for your engine failure! But at least, you did get 117K out of it. Expensive yes, but now you are starting out with a new Engine, plus warranty on same!

Just bought a 2019 Unlimited Rubicon (32K odo) with a few mods so I'm new to this forum. I'll be selling my lifted 1995 GC Limited with 117K on odometer. This will be just used for recreation so hopefully I'll have it for a while and keep it running in top condition.
