I know the 3.5 works great until it doesn't. It doesn't take a whole lot of asking for power on sub standard fuel for it to star limping

We've had better success with our 3.5s than our 2.7s at least. The 2.7 F-150 shouldn't be your first choice if you're towing frequently.
