standard and optional rubicon rims

I'm still confused about the standard and optional rubicon rims. Various docs of them, but the descriptions are the same for the two rim options

Whats further confusing me, is both mention a polished part of the rim. But some Rubicon photos show an all black rim.

Color me confused! Anyone have any insight?

This is the red Rubi with the halfdoor. (Rubicon standard wheel?)

And this is the Hella Yella Rubi. (Rubicon optional wheel?) But I don't see textured or polished on it...

The way the optional wheel is listed when ordering at the dealership is "black wheel with polished lip".
In my opinion of the two I would think the red rubi wheel to follow along that description better. I like both but certainly hope the one on the hella yella was standard as that is what I ordered and would prefer of the two. Its weird though as on the jeep website now when you click to "experience it now" and go to the capability or utility screen there is a white and orange rubicon with a silver wheel so I am confused as well.

So maybe I reversed them. Top (red) is upgraded and bottom (yellow) is standard? An answer from LA would be great.

I've been wondering the same thing since I saw those hella yella wheels. I like them better than the silver ones.

This is probably a really stupid question....but here goes. If you have a dealer swap out the stock tires and rims for upgraded MOPAR or similar, what happens to the original tires/rims? Do you keep them, or do you sell them to the dealer, or does the dealer just keep them?

If you upgrade, you keep the rims and tires and sell them on Craigslist. The parts department is not into trades.

I pray the all black are the upgraded ones because that is what I have on my build, otherwise I guess I will be selling them or try to negotiate with dealer to let me swap them since I had to order blind
