It does appear to be a saber. Somehow my 13 year old got talked into joining a fencing club, he seems to enjoy it. He's into Saber, which appears to be the most aggressive of the 3 at least.

Got a new sectional yesterday so I have all the ingredients for a good one ... until they go out on the curb.

Kind of. The saber mask is all metal and generally silver, as it counts as a touch point. Doesn't count in the other two, so they generally have the black mask.
