What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Yea I notice the same thing. Different plastic clips for each one. Was hoping they made it the same on both sides. I have a phone magnetic mount on the vent to the left of the display and was hoping to go from a 3ft usb cable to like a 1ft cable to clean things up. Guess that’s the ocd in me lol.

Oh- I’m all sorts of OCD. This was not the project for me. Each step was checked and double checked... and then photos taken.

Ordered my JLUR on Jan 29, spent 56 days in KZ and showed up at the dealership with no ETA on May 21. Sold a 13 JKU Sport and upgraded to the JLUR so I wouldn't have to do anything to it.... LMBO!

Upgrades so far...
Installed winch / Mopar winch plate Sunday, finished up Monday night.
Ace Rails last night (took about an hour by myself)
Stubby Antenna (not sure I am sold on the quality of this one).

Did you buy a full size version or the bikini? I only had to remove the Freedom panels to install the one that only covers the front. I am not sure about the other version, unfortunately.

Full length. I did not realize there is the section over the big middle roll bar where the hardtop seems to touch in the center so not sure i can slide it back through there. Im planning on taking the top off tomorrow morning so i will just wait until then and make it easy...

Installing an ax and spade today. I'm putting them on the tailgait using whatever I can find at home depot to attach them. I don't know if I'll ever need them but it's appropriate right! The first jeeps had an ax and a spade so it's ok. Also with my new Jeep, I was never able to get all the extras so my thoughts are, if it's something that would have come in handy in a past "jeep" incident then I should have it now. photos to come later today.

I had a clear Suntek clear bra installed on my entire front end (grill, hood and even around the windshield) You can't even see it on the jeep and will definitely help since the Jeep attracts all kinds of insects and rocks I will do the whole jeep a little at a time, but it is PRICEY!

My sliders, Bubba rope, and soft shackles were delivered today. I can't put the sliders on alone, but I was happy the Bubba rope fit in the cargo cubby along with all of the other crap I jammed in there.

Is it possible to go too far with the modifications? l mean Is there a tipping point like with plastic surgery? Everything looks great and then you add more thing.....and one more and then another until even you start giving it the "confused puppy head tilt" and thinking yeah probably shouldn't have done that! lol Just a bit of humor for your Friday.

Removed the steel bumper end caps, removed the doors, removed the front roof panels and folded the windshield flat, this thing is just too awesome, it's gonna be the best summer yet!!! Look in the back seat and you can see my little boy's pretty happy with the Jeep too! He always says "blue Jeep blue Jeep" with a huge smile on his cute little face!!! Blessed...

Update: got home, attached it all. Took 10 min. I secured it with zip ties...I would have preferred some sort of clamp but until I find a better solution it works.
