Thanks! I went with 35s because I don't want to have to re-gear and no one knows how well the axels will hold up. I know they're supposed to be much stronger but who really knows..........I have read that Dana advised they're rated for 35s, not 37s. I didn't do the research myself though because I knew I was going with 35s. And lastly I went with 35s because I want to be able to max flex without having all kinds of rubbing issues when off-roading. Are you leaning towards 35s or 37s?
Just not sure yet. I vary between 35 and 37’s on a daily basis. I think this is a next year (summer) upgrade so for now I am not going to worry about it. You are the first to mention that the Dana’s would not handle 37s. A lot of the members here are saying the JL takes the 37s without needing to regear or upgrade to One Tons. It seems that 40’s require an upgrade to both gearing and to One Tons. I have not been off-roading as much as I have wanted to - (actually I have not been off roading with my new JLUR yet!) so if that continues maybe the 35’s will be fine, and I may just get 35’s with no lift. Right now I am deciding between 35’s with no lift and 37’s with the the Mopar 2” lift.

Had an awesome weekend with some of the crew up at Plant Bamboo in Okeechobee.

Managed to pop the Barricade winch cherry by pulling a custom F250 Super Duty with a 8" lift and 38s out of two mud holes no problem. Our second Super Duty however fell in some 3 ft ruts and was stuck for over three hours. I attempted with the winch at first but gave up real quick. That thing was stuck so bad that the only thing moving was my jeep. Three trucks attempted, nothing, then two monster trucks tried to pull, one broke its transmission in the process and a 30,000 pound rope. After about two hours I finally we broke out the trusty farm jack, I gather some concrete slabs I saw on the property earlier and we went to work. In a storm we used the shovel to dig enough space underneath the rear hitch to slide a slab and the then the jack. After we lifted that 10,000 pound truck up a foot or so I buried slabs underneath the rear tires, dug out the front bumper then called over the (still functioning) monster truck. I hooked up my winch to keep constant tension while the truck went at it (the winch kept the truck from sliding back into the ruts).

Three hours later we got her out, celebrated, washed them down and went back south. This was an adventure that none of us will forget.

Removed spacers/stock springs and installed 3.5in EVO plush ride springs, Rough Country front adjustable trackbar, and EVO rear raised trackbar bracket. Because of the the new springs, now I'm a little front heavy. :headbang: Guess it's time to put a spare on the back and invest in some new shocks. How you guys feel about the body mounted tire carriers? Should I be worried there's a little drilling involved?

Just got off the phone with EVO, apparently I ordered the correct kit from Northridge which had the incorrect springs in the box. I ordered 3.5in and it had 2.5in front and rear springs. While doing a verification of the part numbers, it was found that the springs are installed in the incorrect position anyway. So when I receive the correct items, I will have them swap in my new springs while they fix their mistake.

Sorry to hear about the mixup.
Is there any way you can measure the length of the springs front/rear for me when you get the correct set. I've run these on a few of my JKs and really liked them. I just want to be sure they are long enough to not fall out with my shock lengths.
Thanks in advance!

My JTops arrived today, finally, I ordered on May 31. But, it’s all good, I know they’ve been swamped with orders and they’re doing their best. Fits great, no flapping around either.

Hey all, my JLUR is on order (stuck in inspections) but I’m trying to order some parts. I opted out of the steel bumper since I don’t like the look of all the bolts. I really want to install a winch guard (just for looks, no plans on ever installing a winch. I just think it’ll look cool with my NFAB side steps.) Has anyone figured out how to install one on a plastic bumper or am I the only one who doesn’t have the steel bumper? Lol
