What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

Got naked and installed MORE ARB dual compressor mount. Still need to wire it to the battery, but modified it to work with the soft top(Had to drill a hole in the softop bracket to use the forward hole.)

I really hope someone has some different ideas for mounting an ARB dual. I'd be afraid it'd get stolen there. Paranoid? Maybe. But I had the doors stolen off my YJ many years ago.

And the one that mounts under the Jeep seems a little sketchy to me. That looks good though! Nice that it works with the soft top with a simple mod.

In a hard top those bolts are such a pain to get to even with the top off a thief will give up. Assuming you have the nut on securing it behind the compressor.

Getting my tires today. Almost done! 35/12.5/18 Ridge Grapplers. On 18” Raceline Shift wheels. Running a 2” spacer lift (I’ve been told to never take a car payment off road, so once it’s paid off I’ll get the real deal).

ALMOST BURNT MY JEEP TO THE GROUND!!!

I currently have the premium soft top on and normally have the top down or back windows out. This morning it was raining so I put the top up and windows on. While driving to work I noticed a tiny creepy crawly dangling from the top. He was a very tiny almost translucent baby spider. This was enough for me to nearly smash into oncoming traffic but I managed to grab a tissue and try to wrangle the little bugger. Thats when it happened. I glanced up and the premium top is very very black. At first I noticed a couple - then more and more. Apparently mommy spider decided to let the pigeons loose inside my Jeep! I cringed as I finished my drive into work. The only thing I could think of was getting a gas can and burning my jeep to the ground! At this point its not if I have a spider on me its how many. Jeep and spiders are still hanging out in the parking lot. No fire yet. Have a great day peeps!

Oh HELL no!! I have a hard top but I still found some spiders that looked similar. I wonder if they are coming from the Jeep factory. ugh....

No wayyyyy. Every month you don't take it off road is one month less you have the opportunity.

Any tips for how you recommend avoiding any chips or marring of paint? It is still scary... lol

I had painters tape on under the screws when I took mine off, just for peace of mind, I went really slow as well. Weather has been quite sketchy lately with all the rain, so haven't had them back off.

My windshield was replaced.

And now I have a nice decoration for my office!

I work for Corning Inc. and the automotive team is going to do some damage analysis. I'm hoping Gorilla Glass JL windshields become a thing!
