Question:
Is there a definitive list somewhere of significant functional things the 2024 Willys added so I can make a reasonably informed choice (vs. cpo 2022)?
I am aware of the e-locking rear diff, taller fenders, a bit larger stock tires, off road+, more off-road suspension I believe, more burly axles?
Am I missing something? (Tow package is standard.)
Many thanks.

Background:
I'm not a DIY or fix-it guy (just want off-road capability) and, especially based on what I hear of Jeep reliability, I want low mileage cpo or new. First Jeep, so Willys (vs. Rubicon) may give me enough off-road capability. (I have a lifted Forester, skids and A/T tires and want to take it up a notch or two). Not trying to be a serious rock-crawler. Guessing I could save approx. 10K by going used 2022 (and live with the selected options). (Yes, I am tuned into the below-invoice thread, many thanks). From what I can see, the 2024 is considered the bees knees Willys and would have better re-sale value, though I'm not sure I care too much about that. But I do care about capability. Yes, I know it boils down to what I want to do with the Jeep and how important the money is -- and you can't really help with that part. Hence the above question is about the added feautures.

The Jeep CPO coverage isn’t good value. You basically get an extra 3mths / 3K miles of warranty and will pay a premium for it.

Compare that to Volvo, for example. We bought my wife’s XC90 as a CPO which extended the warranty from 4/50 to 5/unlimited miles. Now THAT’S a good CPO warranty. We paid an extra $3K and extended it even further to 10 years and unlimited miles and it’s directly with Volvo.

In your case, 2024 all the way.

Clarifying: Link below says with the Jeep CPO, you get a 7-year (or 100K miles) drive train from year of production. So, a 2020 CPO vehicle would have drive train until 2027. A new 2022 with standard 5-year (60K) would also go to 2027.
Jeep CPO.

The 23 and earlier Willys is basically a "sticker package" applied to the base model Sport. From what I've read about the '24 Willys it something of a "Rubicon Lite", with rear locker, 33s, highline fenders, maybe more. I just got a '23 that's loaded with tech options, perfect for me as a daily driver, I have a JK Rubi for the trails. All that said, the Willys would probably handle most of the trails around here just fine.

Given the cost of a new 2024 Willys, the other option would be a very low mileage 2022 Rubicon. Hmmm.

Decision made: ordered a 2024 anvil Willys yesterday.
Thanks for the advice. Great forum.

No used vehicle has Lemon Law protection, so keep that in mind.
