Took a picture of the view today. This is a pretty good representation of how much I can seeDid yours not come with a black knob to release the mirror? On another post I saw your comment on the visibility on the passenger side. Would you say you can see 50% of the mirror? More? Less?
Leather just had the CNC stitching addedWere the seats leather prior to the upgrade, or cloth? They look great.
Ours rattled. We added sticky pads. Fixed the problem!!does it rattle?
Let us know how you like the top windshield strip once installedTomorrow I'll be getting the drivers and passengers windows tinted along with a small strip of tinting across the top of the windshield.
I haven't done the wiring for the hitch so in the meantime is just extra protection if I get rear ended or I back into something
Ground is not achieved through the ball/hitch, most receivers are powder coated black which wouldnt conduct ground anyhow so a painted ball wouldnt make any difference. Ground is achieved from the "ground" pin from the 4/7 pin connector between the jeep and the trailer. Its usually the white wire in the harness. Google trailer wiring to learn more.@willy_28
I'd keep the red .. I was serious in my comment, it looks great!
Just get a similar drop hitch and ball that you keep unpainted for when you do tow. OR you can quickly sand off the paint on the ball with some emery paper when you need to tow. Your trailer lights will be a no go cause of the paint and it not allowing a ground.
