That would be awesome as a second vehicle or third.
That would WORK on the ranch for sure. That would be my primary truck. Ranch work is divided into 2 categories... Light and HEAVY.

Light is trips to WalMart and a few bales of hay here and there, some 2x4s at Home Dept.

Heavy, is HEAVY. In the pic below that is a pallet of rocks that weighs 38XX lbs and its sits mostly behind the rear axle and my F 450 barely squats with it.

So a 2 door would work GREAT...it would be small my F 450 is nearly 25 ft and very wide with the dually's.

NOT sure WHY Jeep has not gone 392 in a SWB. To me, I feel like Jeep is leaving the legacy of 2 doors behind as if it is a red-headed step child...

For this reason, my NEXT Jeep will be a TJR...
Or at least a 5.7. Actually a 5.7 should be an option on all trim levels and wheelbases.

Agreed. That engine makes so much more sense than does the Ooh-look-at-me 392.

Selling Corporate on the idea of the 5.7L for the two-door Wrangler would be difficult, but it would slot perfectly in the powertrain line up for the four door.

And the Gladiator. It would make it a far more useful truck and a viable alternative to the competition in that segment.

Yep. To this day, I continue to view the Gladiator as a Wrangler with a bed, and not distinctly as a truck.

I can say that because two proper trucks preceded the purchase of my JLU...and by extension, informed my decision to purchase the four door, when I'd still otherwise welcome a JL in the garage if my use case allowed for it.

And another thought, now that Stellantis has stated that they are done with V8s, will they eventually sell the tooling? The current Hemi series of engines have been excellent. It seems foolish to scrap all of that tooling and engineering.

They have to have replacement engines available for 7 years, without the engines being using in production, they fulfill that projected need in a year and warehouse them. Or perhaps they will wait for the fickle tide of politics and policies to turn, and once again start producing factory equipped V8 vehicles again.

I do as well. I don't understand giving it a separate name and designation, unless there was some sort of regulatory need to do so.

Plausible deniability, eh? It's money transfer like Zelle, paypal, CashApp, etc ;)

On a serious note, as much demand as I see on here and everywhere else for a 2-door gladiator, I'm disappointed that Stellantis isn't listening. I watched the '24 refresh reveal a few month ago and everyone was asking for it in the chat. They completely ignore that question and focused on talking about the EV market.

Would love to see this configuration get into production, but Stellantis would find a way to make this a $100k+ offering as well. When will the insanity end? ?
