Can someone explain “Body Vendor”? Do all orders go through the body vendor phase?

No not all go through body vendor. Any Wrangler/ Gladiator ordered with additional mopar equipment ie. tailgate reinforcement, graphics, recon package, spray in bed liner etc. will go to body vendor after assembly line to finish installation. If the order has been red flagged for some issues it will go to body vendor.

Yes for winch install.

I saw the Jeep I ordered on June 2 today in the flesh. I will take delivery Friday. The dealer carried through with the ordered price even though the car had gone up in price about $4500. That makes being low-balled on the trade-in feel a lot better. I hope all dealers carry through with the ordered price.

Sold order price protection is a thing. The only caveat is your name and address has to match from when you ordered when you go to pick it up. That is a Stellantis requirement across all brands.

It was so hard to find anything online to properly render the color. I had to track down one on a dealer’s lot 60 miles away to actually get a good idea of the color before I ordered. It is a great color in the real world!

For anyone else waiting on their Willys XR, I just watched this video. Kind of stressing me out.
Fast forward to 3:27. Not sure if this would have any impact on my current order for one but may explain why it hasn't shown any progress either.

Heard from my salesman this morning. He said updated on his end to KZP today which means it just arrived at the body vendor....ug.

For all others, he said Stellantis is now trying to get as many as they can dropped off before the year end to up the quota.

I was lucky that my dealer had a 2 door on the lot. I had wanted to see Anvil in person too, but they didn't have that. I loved the Earl on site so it was good.
