I got the same email today regarding my 4Xe. My order date was 9/4/23 and scheduled 9/15/23, so my order dates line up about the same as yours. Maybe they are moving a batch of 4Xe through, although not sure how considering the strike.![]()

New to the forum, and placed an order through my dealership about 2 weeks ago, right at the beginning of the strike. The dealer is telling me that the new order has a VIN and stock number, but I have yet to receive any emails from Jeep regarding progress. Do you think this is because of the strike, or did others have to wait a little while before the emails started?
Thanks!
Unless you get lucky like me. Day 95 and my order still doesn't show up on the tracker. I also had to open a ticket, now I get an email ever 2 weeks or so telling me "good new, we have your order but no idea when we will actually build it."I never got any e-mails from Jeep about the order until I opened a ticket on it. All info was from my dealer/salesman. You can log into the Jeep tracker with your order number and VIN, but it's not very accurate.

How can they provide you with an estimated delivery date in the middle of a strike? They are doing you a disservice by giving you a date that is meaningless. What if the strike lasts into November? A lot of us here on the forum have built vehicles that are pending delivery. Clearly, noone knows when they will ship. Not a good situation to be in, but giving you false hope isn't cool.Dealer called me today with an estimated shipping date of 10-30-2023.
No false hope here! I have been waiting like others, any news is good news. My dealer has been excellent at communicating any updates they receive. Believe me I was shocked when it moved to d1.How can they provide you with an estimated delivery date in the middle of a strike? This is most likely nothing more than Stellantis not being able to do anything currently except scheduling. Which is why you went D1. Your dealer got an update of this. Estimated delivery is about 5 weeks after D1 in their system. Same thing happened to me and many others around here. I ordered 6/16. Received D1 6 6/20. Was told it would arrive 7/30. It never went E. Im still waiting. No false hope here! I have been waiting like others, any news is good news. My dealer has been excellent at communicating any updates they receive. I tracked it through production. I did order from a smaller dealer. Not sure if that makes a difference at all.Nice, Ordered Willy 4xe 8/5. Still no movement other then the dealer saying D1 status.
Was your order similar to one coming in or did you track it through production?
I feel your pain. It took 112 days before I could use any of the trackers. The order was scheduled on 6/22 with no movement after that until one day after the strike started. An email was delivered stating that my order was in the production queue for 9/25. Gee, thanks a lot! ?Unless you get lucky like me. Day 95 and my order still doesn't show up on the tracker. You go to D when you get your VIN, you’ll only see C status on tracker, the next movement you’ll see is when you go into D1 status.Reached out to my dealer and I’m finally at D status after 27 Days at C. Trackers still shows C, but any movement is exciting.
I went into this expecting to wait. I was getting a manual, so knew it was going to be a long time. I was expecting them to say December, but its looking like it will be after the new year. Most of the time, companies will pull non-union employees from other plants to keep operations going at snails pace. But at least they try to keep things moving.Well, well, well…. Trying not get my hopes up, but my dealership just told me that my vehicle was released from the factory today. Next step is for it to be loaded on a carrier and transported to NY, so it could be another couple of weeks.
Even the dealership was surprised, but it seems there is still some movement in Toledo. I seriously wish I could buy lunch to those employees.
I’ll post if/when the actual delivery materializes. In the meantime, don’t lose hope!
PS: Thank you @GrumpyOldVet and @kbow for encouraging me to contact my dealership.
