Just trade it for a new 24 with 4.10's.

No thanks. Between interest rates and updated cost, I'll pass. I can live with a stock Jeep or one with less than ideal drivetrain setup.

While on topic of performance, anyone know of any mod that will return a bit more giddy-up and go for the 6sp, short of regear? I'm assuming a tuner won't do much with the manual...

You can get it tuned. There are supercharger and turbocharger options out there, but they're going to end up more expensive than the regear.

Your best bet would be to trade it for a performance vehicle. It's a Jeep, not a Challenger. Start messing with the engine or tune and your warranty goes bye-bye...and you NEED that warranty.

not my style, only ever had trucks and now on my 3rd Wrangler. It's really just the shitty 3.45 gears the pooheads at jeep decided was a good idea with the 6sp...just keep her above 2k and all is alright...
