What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

So I had to remove the stubby antenna today. Drove out to a buddies land and hitting highway speeds the antenna was too floppy (I know, that's what she said) and kept hitting the side of the jeep. Happened so much I stopped and pulled it off. Can't believe i havent heard of this problem before. Will either go back stock or get a tiny less flexible one.

Which one do you have? I have the AntennaX and it's flexible, but doesn't flop around in highway driving.

It's the AntennaX. Not sure if its faulty. I dont use FM though so a smaller one wont hurt me

hmmm. I have the 13" version. I haven't noticed any vibration or hitting the side, at speed. How did you notice? scratches on the side? or loud sound?

I had to travel to Dallas to get it but I finally got my soft top and got it installed today!!

I installed the Mopar hitch and wiring harness; then bought a hitch basket for the cooler.

hmmm. I have the 13" version. I haven't noticed any vibration or hitting the side, at speed. How did you notice? scratches on the side? or loud sound?

Loud sound. I thought I caught a rock to the windshield the first time it did it. Then it just started doing it nearly non stop. Windy day and only after about 65 mph. But with my lack of use of radio, I'll just switch it out, kinda bummed though, it looked nice. Maybe I had a faulty antenna too, who knows. For $13 or whatever I spent on amazon, I'm not sweating it.

We also have the 13" AntennaX just like yours. No problems here!

Installed the Mopar door sill guard along with xpel sill guard (clear) on the exposed metal.

Seems the parts to repair my soft top came in, so I will get to go full top down this summer after all

I used the AntennaX 21". It's stiff, so no flexing.
