No screen protector. I’m currently reading up on how to do a hard reset for the system. I might just disconnect the battery for a bit and see it that resolves the issue. Side note it did just get cleaned and detailed so maybe something happened when they were wiping it.

My Uconnect just started having the clock issue this morning. I can’t even close out the screen. It seems as if it’s a false touch on the time at the top of the Uconnect that brings up the prompt. Did you ever find a resolution to this issue? Thanks for any help.

My Weimaraner ate the gap hider in my Jeep this happened during a recent road trip. I was driving and was wondering to myself what that sound was. Noticed it at the next stop. Not sure it’s worth replacing.

It was a hiking accident. Slipped and caught my hand on a sharp volcanic rock. Hit it just right and with all my weight on it, it split my finger in two. Worst pain I’ve ever experienced.

Drove the Mojave Road in my stock JLUS while towing an off-road trailer. Had to abruptly abort the trail early though due to an injury. Good thing I carry a good medical kit when out in the wilderness. Time to start planning my return, gotta finish the last ~40miles.

Since I installed my BlackVue dashcam, ESS does not engage because when parked the dashcam drains the battery while recording. Since my battery is pretty much always in a state of charging I never have ESS turn the Jeep off. So my recommendation is to install a dashcam for a few hundred bucks...

I have the same dash cam in the 2ch version. Great quality and a great investment! I live in the SF Bay Area and we have the countries worst drivers so it’s great insurance. I used the power magic pro for the parking mode and it works like a charm.

I checked the uConnect software update page. Version 21.10 was released on 5/15/19. Just plug in your VIN and it will prompt you to download. It might say there is an error with your VIN as it did with mine but just keep submitting it and eventually you will get the update, it’s a 10GB download...

I just bought the netting that dirty dog 4x4 makes. Very expensive. In the past I made my own netting for very cheap. Made this for my Weim a number of years ago. Cheap and pretty easy to make. Kept her safely in the back of my Jeep for many years.
