Try being a moderate with left leaning tendencies. My only saving grace is that I live in NYC, arguably the liberal capital of the east coast. Ironically, I get called out for being too conservative every now and then.

I stay on Facebook because I refuse to let politics kick me off. I don't start anything, but when the inevitable hard-right uncle comments on my wall, I stand my ground and back it up with facts.

Heh, I get some weird looks when someone who knows I lean right sees that I have a left leaning moderate bi-racial wife that is an active CCW permittee. It confuses them...

Politics aside, yers truly built a website last night. Still a work in progress but I'm learning where the program hides all the files that need tweaking to make it what I need it to be. I'm the web guy for the club's website and it has some issues and it uses Wordpress as the engine and I HATE it! So I'm farting around trying to create a new one from scratch. Fun stuff and I can get help from my son. hehe

Yes, much better. Only an every now and then pause while it tries to decide if it wants to accept my like. Just have to sit here while it ponders life's deepest thoughts.

BTW, for you geekier types, I'm playing around with Hugo as my web platform. I get to use my Unix skilz a bit more and it be fun to actually remember some of that stuff that I haven't used since I departed the working world in 2013.
