I wanted tan leather seats when I ordered my Rubicon 2 days ago. Dealer attempted, but only could get tan interior if I wanted Black paint. Maybe that will change at some point, but that was my recent experience.
I had The same problem. I had to order cloth seats no leather. So I guess I'll be aftermarket getting leather after delivery.

There is no way I would ever order a trailer towing package and I rarely see Wranglers towing anything.
I wouldn’t get a Wrangler without it! We see a lot of Wranglers towing here in NM - most are towing light campers or overland trailers. We tow a small teardrop, and probably have 8k towing miles just in the last year and a half. I do like the auxiliary options and have added lights. It all comes down to how you use your jeep!

I ordered my 24 Rubicon X pkg 2 days ago. The package pricing is actually a cost savings. I tried to order a 23 in Feb, but the recon pkg and other options I wanted weren’t available at that time, so I waited, then MY24 was generating buzz. I wanted to wait for pricing and couldn’t believe I am saving $ over what I would have spent on a 23. Bronco competition has been a forcing function and can’t believe everything Im getting!

I received an email with tracking and already have a VIN. Dealer said 3-4 months, so the wait begins!
Nice- good luck! I ordered my '22 JLUXR in December of '21- dealer said it would take 6-7 months, but it showed up in three- wishing you an early delivery too!

@Skolson It's wonderful that you enjoy pulling a small camper, but why make everyone buy a trailer hitch? It was optional before.

Man, I'm a city guy and don't use my Wrangler for any of its intended purposes. But that pic of you chiilin on the side of the road with your camper looks peaceful and freeing. Love it....

2016 Sport 2door manual
Am I reading wrong or misunderstanding? I get prices never come down, but it seems to me (and please tell me if I’m missing something), pricing (least what I’m looking at is more than reasonable. And in some ways a good deal.

Context. In fall of 2015 I ordered a
2016 2 door Sport (manual). Only options I added were the premium soft top and AC (not std then). I paid right at $25,000.

$25,000 in todays $ is roughly $30k-$32k. Which is right at MSRP of a 2024 Sport that now comes with a heck of a lot more features. Without losing anything of note.

Now I spent about $1,500 (back then) on black aluminum wheels (15”) and 33” tires. I also spent about $1,000 on a 7” CarPlay aftermarket stereo and replaced all speakers myself ($250), rock rails ($500ish), receiver hitch with electronics ($125ish). Recently added LED headlights (about $300) and several other little things (also added the 2” Rancho lift Kit to get better shocks).

So I’m looking at the Willy’s (2door manual) at $39,395 (and assume wouldn’t be difficult to get 3%-5% off) and thinking its at least a good deal. It comes with everything I added to mine plus features I really like and want (lockers, adaptive cruise, aux switches).

Would I prefer a Willy’s Sport at $2k-3k less w/out the power windows, door locks, alarm, power mirrors? Sure…I don’t need any of that in a 2door. But at this price.

I get if you price out a 392 w/a couple options u get to $100k for a Wrangler. Which is just….crazy. But all manufacturers r pulling that.

Didn‘t mean to make this long…just not sure if I’m crazy or thinking now the time to upgrade.

yours Rubicon? Rubicon is avilable auto with 3.6. Sport and Willys trims are only available in 2.0.
I got the Rubicon x package and added some other options. I have the 3.6 now and really like it, so I stuck with it..

I am about to place a new new order for my '21 lemon replacement. I have a few questions that I can't find definitive answers for: (these are for the 4xe Rubicon)

1) Is the only way to get color matched fenders is with the Rubicon X package, is that correct?

2) Is tan leather no longer an option? I don't see it.

3) What Warn do you get from the factory?

4) What is included in the convince group?

5) What exactly is the difference with the Nappa Leather seats? Is the appearance the same?

6) On the '21, the only way to get the leather dash and fold down armrest in the back was with a leather option, is that still the case?

THANKS!

1. Yes
3. Looks like a Zeon 8-S
4. For the 4xe Rubicon, heated seats, steering wheel and remote start.

Is the only way to get a soft top on the Rubicon X to get the dual top group?
