Agree. I didn't care about towing and likely never will do it. But I wanted those aux switches and upgraded alternator/battery.

I don't even know if I'll even end up adding any external stuff that uses the aux switches but I like knowing I can easily do it.

I think a lot of people got the towing package for the bigger alternator, battery and aux switches.

I don't care for the new forced group options ordering either but I guess I get it from a company stand point.

I'd prefer to pick and choose.

Unless I’m missing something the new Willys with all the packages is like $4k cheaper than the 2023 with all the same equivalent packages added. What a bargain with all the extra equipment.

Seems like Jeep is targeting the people that gotta have the latest and greatest in the Rubicon and Extreme packages.

so if I am reading this right, we can finally get an XR with 4.88 gears on the Rubicon X but still not the 392. Can anyone confirm?

The 392 comes standard with the Xtreme Recon package and 4.56 gears as part of that package which cancels the 4.88 gear ratio as an option.

Order what you really want - the Rubicon X with the half doors.

Eat nothing but Top Ramen for the next four to six months.

That's what I'm thinking also - on or about the time the first '24 JL's ship to dealers.

edit: Reason being is that if they post that official configurator too soon it'll undercut the 2023 inventory remaining on dealer lots, dealers don't like that.

Is there a consensus about the XDB mopar hinge lgate reinforcement being part of the 24Y (Rubicon X) trim? The pricing sheet shows XDB being included with the AGB (extreme 35" tire package). AGB shows as being standard on the Rubicon X with DFT (auto trans). So the X should have the XDB from the factory for no charge. Also on the 4 door pricing sheet it shows XDB as being standard on the DFT (auto) 2TY (Rubicon X).

If I'm reading this right, it looks like the Rubicon X with the 3.6 auto is $66,395, which for the list of included options, seems like a hell of a deal to me. And no 3.6 eTorque anymore- is that right?

I ordered my 24 Rubicon X pkg 2 days ago. The package pricing is actually a cost savings. I tried to order a 23 in Feb, but the recon pkg and other options I wanted weren’t available at that time, so I waited, then MY24 was generating buzz. I wanted to wait for pricing and couldn’t believe I am saving $ over what I would have spent on a 23. Bronco competition has been a forcing function and can’t believe everything Im getting!

I received an email with tracking and already have a VIN. Dealer said 3-4 months, so the wait begins!

Few observations...no tan or grey seat options? No limited slip options? Do the sport and sport s come with a body colored ,old style grill?

I wanted tan leather seats when I ordered my Rubicon 2 days ago. Dealer attempted, but only could get tan interior if I wanted Black paint. Maybe that will change at some point, but that was my recent experience.
