I was surprised it was still available too. Its a "Select" which I guess means breakfast and lunches are not included. This one seems reasonable($$) enough. I look forward to it, my Jeep will still be stock, maybe the Wife will see other Jeeps and approve modifications.

The first Jeep event my wife attended was the recent Jeep Beach in Daytona. She became so intrigued I left in a new JL and she ordered a Rock Krawler lift for me!

Testing for clearances on my newly installed @ROAM rear long arm kit. Arms tuck up very nice/close to the body for being as long as they are.
And yes, I know my Jeep looks like a dog lifting it's hind leg.... Maybe I should have photoshoped a Tree in place of the forklift

Thanks for the reply. With a little patience, a little elbow grease, and a lot of words my pastor wouldn't be proud of, I finally was able to line everything up and tighten down!

In a few months, I'll feel sorry for the Katzkin installers though!

Pretty busy Sunday with the Jeep. I also built the door holding cart from another thread. (Im gonna have to modify it though as the width of the carriers are more suited to JK doors.)

The wiring of the side steps was the most time consuming but it all worked out, thanks to a Roam Side steps thread.

Reception is just as good as the stock antenna. I have had zero reception issues! It was the AntennaX on amazon for $13.99 I believe. It is much less noticeable than the 3 foot tall silver one!

The satellite receiver on the JL and the AM/FM radio antenna are two different animals.

The AM/FM reception takes a hit when you install much shorter antenna's, that is a given.

As far as Sirius/XM satellite radio, that is not impacted at all when you remove or change the AM FM "antenna".

The "satellite radio receiver" is what is used for SiriusXM reception.

On the Wrangler JK and JL, the "satellite radio receiver" for use with SiriusXM resides up on top of the sound bar/roll bar, just above and behind the passenger.

So I'm looking for these wires...…I have one more question that I'm afraid of the answer. Did not get the Aux option because didn't think I would ever tow again or add lights because I got the lighting package...…..will I find these wires if I didn't get that package? Are they just blanked off, or not put in at all...….?

I don't have an answer for that, you'll only find out for sure by looking for the wires. If I were to guess, I doubt they would go to the trouble of running wires for an option that wasn't purchased.

Previous post showed my Mopar roof rack and yakima megawarrior installed. Since it’s not necessary to carry the rack and cargo basket around all the time unless you just want to be that guy/gal, I set up a storage system in my garage. In addition MPG takes a huge hit with the rack and basket on. Went from 18-19 to 15-16.

And for the mopar rack, it takes yakima lock cores. 4-pack is $60!!! Unbelievable.

It has 3.5-4" Skyjacker springs & 37x13.50r17 Cooper STT Pro tires. Wheels are 17x9 KMC XD Machete beadlocks.
