There are two different Cold Weather packages depending on transmission. The version for the M/T is $200 cheaper and they're not interchangeable. Salesman might not have noticed that if they don't sell a lot of manuals.

shipping im sure depends a lot on where you are and how many vehicles going that way but who knows these days

I think it has to do with the 2-door soft top.
