Agreed, but if sold orders getting to production is a factor of existing dealer allocations, and higher volume dealers have more allocations, then sold orders from higher volume dealers would get built quicker, on average, than from smaller dealers with less allocation. Getting built faster is definitely a factor in the buying decision (especially when interest rates are skyrocketing)z Hence, why I said production prioritization, assuming all parts are available, should truly be done on a FIFO basis when it comes to sold orders.

I think there’s enough evidence in this thread alone to show that production of sold orders isn’t occurring on a FIFO basis…

Dealer's estimated ship date = date you go into production

unless you're like me and a few other dozen people who got scheduled and the week production was supposed to start, they regress you so you're back to unscheduled where you have sat for weeks now...waiting and waiting and waiting some more with no production date in sight.
That just sucks

There are certainly a multitude of factors responsible for how fast the production process moves on an individual order. As you note, supplies are a massive factor. The more options are selected on an order, the more likely it is exposed to delays.

Yes - larger dealers typically have larger Order-Banks. The zone rep will communicate with the dealer, for their next ‘batch’ of stock orders. There is usually a timing window for the dealer to submit specified orders to fill his allocated slots - if he misses, they will go elsewhere within that bi-weekly order cycle.

Any sold order replaces an allocation slot in the order bank and goes automatically in front of the line to be processed by the zone rep.

Reported daily production numbers for the Toledo North assembly plant range from 600 to 800 units. One source says one Jeep per minute.
With that in mind, forum posts here reflect only a minimal percentage of the production volume.

There is one a lot in Sherman, TX very similar to that. XR, Hardtop... I've been looking at jumping ship on my order but it's a bit too far for me.

She came in on Veteran’s day. Keys in hand within 3 hours of coming off the truck.

Check the door hinges for a gap indicating a gasket. I measured .015 on mine between the hinge and door faces.

It was a good day today!

Delivered at dealer 11/10
The Jeep looks and drives fantastic! I’m so happy with my purchase!
It’s the V6 and fully loaded with every option package, and I still somehow got it in two months. I was told that the larger dealers with high volume sales get more orders allocated..that may have helped. I ordered from Rob at Tuttle-Click in Irvine and it was a great experience. There we’re no surprises and even though the price went up about 2K, I had price protection! The deal made saved me over 11% off MSRP!
I also met fellow forum member @JeepGawin there who picked up his order at the same time!
Wishing all of you waiting the best to get your Jeeps ASAP!

I don’t think they look bad at all…and I hated them when I first saw pictures here. I have them on mine I picked up yesterday and I’m good with them.
