I thought about higher but always being in my view/blocking some visibility just bothered me. Personal preference for sure. And not that I would ever check an email or anything like that at a stop light, but if I ever did that it would be much less obvious (state law). Also with AA I don’t know that I need the phone itself as much to actually view things, though I have maybe 30 mins of experimenting so jury is far from rendering a verdict on AA.I have the same mount - much better location though.

I haven’t tried mine on wireless charge since I stuck the magnet on. But given the shortcomings of wireless charging I have mostly stopped using it except for quick pick me ups on my desk at work. The shortcoming is once a battery is full on cord charge, it will stop using your battery. But on wireless charge the phone always uses your battery to run and will effectively shorten battery life. Thanks for the quick reply. I'm pretty sure if I need to stick the metal plate to the phone, then wireless charging would not work, but I'll test it out. Thanks again!
I've actually preferred Apple Maps over Google Maps for the last couple of years. It started out bad but has gotten really good. The interface with CarPlay is great.Android, yeah you wouldn’t need it. But for those of us lucky folks who are stuck with the great Apple Maps need the mount to use either Waze or Google maps on our phones.
I see everybody using these dollies, but my question is « How did you remove your top ? »This evening I washed the Jeep, then exchanged the hard top for the soft top. So I got to finally use my homemade dolly I made almost 2 months ago. Forgot to take a picture in the driveway so you get a garage shot. Notice all the damn bugs, had to check out the difference in noise so took it out for a short drive, now I need to rewash the mirrors, windshield, and grill.Left the door bolts on, but I have a feeling they will come off by the end of the weekend (I typically leave them off with the soft-top, for quick conversions). I do miss my 2 door TJ, a lot easier to go naked by removing 2 big plastic rotary screws, then the 3 bolts it will take now on the door surrounds.
Oh, I also washed my Wife's explorer, figured I can't just ignore that car now. Black, who buys black, took twice as long to make look good.
Tomorrow night is trash night, I get to cut up several cardboard boxes now. Thanks Jeep!
