Ordered JLUR 4xe Jun 28 In production Aug 22 - no ship date yet... how long does it take to get the parts bolted on? Will be attending Jeep Jamboree in Ouray CO in late September. Would be great to show up in the 4xe instead of my current Gladiator....

What's wrong with Friday build days?

This is pretty normal
Usually goes in production after a month of scheduled date

yeah well mine was schedule 8/1 with a dealer build date of 9/9. as of Saturday it’s now a build date of 9/22. Next week it will probably be 10/2 and so on.

Any delay due to not having parts on hand could come and go. They may have 25 of a needed part and can build those 25, but then the next 25 may have to wait for a resuplly of that part. Then they get in 25 more and they build 25 more. You cannot assume that any delay keeps all Jeeps from being built, maybe your was just Jeep #26...

Exactly. The whole "no options means you get Jeep quicker" is a myth. I have pretty much every option and mine is currently in G status, trim. There are plenty of people on here with only 1 or 2 options that are still waiting to be scheduled.

I've been built for a week now...earlier I checked and it still said vehicle built. Now I check and no info available. Hopefully that means it's updating to a shipped status! At least the last few times no info was available it later moved to the next milestone, in my personal experience thus far.

My speculation is that production has more to do with shipping and dealer allocations than materials on hand. When you crank out 1000 Jeeps a day, you have to have somewhere for them to go or you won't have anywhere to put tomorrow's 1000 Jeeps.

Neat! I was just there a few weeks ago. Stop by the True Grit Cafe in Ridgway while you're there. Used to bartend there years ago and the owner is a sweetheart.

My guess is last year the Jeep scheduling department sat around after work with a cold adult beverage drawing VON #'s out of a hat. This year their using a computer to random pick von numbers using a outdated laptop.

Well, one thing is for sure... ordering a 2-door is absolutely NOT the fastest way to get your 2023 Jeep built. So far we have only seen ONE 2-door 2023 model with a build date. One. 4-doors are getting built left and right.

Yeah, I am starting to get irritated at the lack of progress in building 2-doors. I understand that the whole build procedure is somewhat different these days due to myriad excuses, but after ordering every car I have owned for the past near 25 years, this experience so far is by far the worst I have had with a manufacturer and dealer. Starting to consider options

I ordered a 23 JLU Sahara High Altitude on August 6th and was scheduled on August 16th. My dealer is also showing a estimated ship date of September 6th but no movement on the pizza tracker. From what I have read on various forums, the "est ship date" is really when your vehicle starts build. I am not sure if this is factual but this is what I have seen. All the best to you in this waiting game!

My dealer showed me a build date of 9/13.
She then said to expect delivery end of Sept/early Oct. I assume that is her estimate based on how long it usually takes Jeeps to get to her dealership. I'll take it, but I'm cautiously optimistic. Pizza tracker still said scheduled. I don't think it will show anything until it enters production.

People are suprisingly understanding when transparency is present. But its the lack of transparency or any real reason what so ever.

I do mortgages for a living. Make sure your loan officer accounts for the proposed payment. You really shouldn't do anything until after you close on the house honestly.
