Added a Midland MXT275 with 3db ghost antenna. While our original plan was to mount the antenna on the passenger side hood, we ended up mounting on the tire carrier and plan to replace the ghost antenna from the kit with a 1/2 wave Larsen, (suggestions welcome).

We mounted the mini-radio under the passenger seat bringing power off the Aux 4 switch in the passenger footwell. Routed a microphone extension up the "B" pillar so the microphone will be on the MPS molle platform and hang while in use. Again, routing the antenna to the rear tire carrier behind the passenger side rear cargo and sub woofer panel, to the tailgate, and out through the passenger side grommet. Using my Junior HS level shop skills made an antenna mount from some old sailboat stainless steel and stainless hardware. More photographs at our build thread—

I've been busy the last 2 1/2 months since I took delivery of my 2022 Sting-Gray JLUR.

1. Warn Zeon 10-S winch, with Rusty's winch plate and Factor 55 Flatlink E (Expert) shackle mount and rope guard wired to dash auxiliary switch (job outsourced)
2. Teraflex 2.5" Alpine CT2 short arm suspension with Falcon SP2 3.3 shocks (job outsourced)
3. Maximus-3 Brush Bar and filler plates for Zeon winch

5. Cooltech JL Tow kit with LED light option battery drain fix kit, and RVI towed battery charger
6. American Adventure Labs rear cargo shelf with my own design bungee cord set-up
7. Maxpedition Molle Bags on rear door table
8. Fox 2.0 ATS steering stabilizer with Synergy steering stabilizer relocation kit
9. I got "Ducked" finally!!
10. Overland Outfitters front door and rear driver side storage bags
11. Mopar rear cargo area covers for leather seats
12. Baja Design XL-R Pro auxiliary lights wired to dash auxiliary switch

Before the negative comments, I'm installing the Mopar lift and haven't gotten to phase 2. That is what I'll be doing all day tomorrow.

Drove around all day in the sunshine and heat with soft top in Safari mode, then installed the Rugged Ridge Door Entry Guard kit 11216.32. The doors off made it easier, as did having the wife gradually pull/peel off the red 3M adhesive tape protective film as I pressed the last long front guard into place.

I did extensive weather stripping around the windshield. Had a crazy whistle on the passenger side at +65mph. Then installed the Quadratec backseat cup holder. It was a B to install with two screws you can’t see, but a 6 pack helped. Cup holder Well worth it for my 10 and 7 year olds. Before and after:

Sarge Green? Mine nevercame with the half doors as built. I had the dealer set me up with some mopar tube doors as a replacement for what did not come according to my build sheet. I'm at a crossroads if I still want half doors as the tube doors are kind of neat. Did yours come with the windows?

Took it offroad today and I was going to run Cedar Tree for my first Honor Badge however plans changed. I think it's now "Mall Rated" is there a badge for that?

So my jeep is Gecko Green. I bought these off of someone who didn’t have a choice from his dealer. His Jeep was a custom order where the original customer walked away after it arrived. So he got the half doors and didn’t really want to run them with his very young daughter (his reason he stated to me) so I was happy to take them off his hands.

al also yes, they come with removable uppers aka Windows.

I think his came with the basic uppers.

I’ve seen several sets of Sarge green doors pop up on this site in the members classified section and on Facebook marketplace. Just gotta keep a close eye on it.

the guy selling the ones I bought sold his in under 10 hours.

Removed all the brand stickers I got with my mods from the right hand side on the rear window .. They aren’t paying me to advertise for them ? looked kinda tacky too .. Live and learn!

Stickers left an imprint of the outline, I had to use clay bar and windex to remove it.
