Hello All,
My wife and I are headed to Big Bend NP (Terlingua, Lajitas, Marathon TX) in January. I’d like to run my 2020 Rubicon Recon on some easy to moderate trails while there. Any advice on anything at all related to that area? Any and all info is appreciated!
7 and 10 year old girls here. They love it. Plenty of room. Both very tall for their age. Plenty of room for them. Only thing they don’t like is getting hair blown around when top off. But they put up with it because they love the Jeep!
I did extensive weather stripping around the windshield. Had a crazy whistle on the passenger side at +65mph. Then installed the Quadratec backseat cup holder. It was a B to install with two screws you can’t see, but a 6 pack helped. Cup holder Well worth it for my 10 and 7 year olds. Before and...
So if I’m reading this thread and the Mopar site correctly, my 2020 Rubicon Recon already came with both the tailgate reinforcement and upgraded spare tire carrier. I’ll just need the stop light relocation kit if I add 35s, correct?
Sorry, just wasn’t completely sure after reading multiple threads.
I have not found anything other than RokBlokz for those of us with Rubicon, rails, and steel bumpers. I just dont really like the look of the Rokblokz. Hopefully another option is out there.
I had some of that too. Although not as bad as yours. Meguiars polish cleaned it right up. Mine wasn’t sticky, but smooth to the touch. Tried goo gone first but it didn’t do a thing.
Hello all. I’m wondering if there are any seals out there for the back side of the front bumper Where the fog light wires and such are (pic below)? I have a 2020 Rubicon Recon. I’ve searched a good bit on here and at vendors with no luck. I guess I could fashion something out of plastic or...
I installed the Lange power hoist in my garage about a week ago. I've used it once and it performed great. No issues so far. Seems to be very sturdy and good quality.
I finished mounting my Lange Powered Hoist. Not as bad of an install as I had feared. All the ceiling stud finding, marking, measuring, and brace mounting took the longest. Going to be 104 and dusty here the next couple days, so looks like the top won’t come off until the weekend.
I installed some new and inexpensive door sill guards off of Amazon that seem to be pretty good quality:

I also put in some new Oedro floor mats. I had the Oedro backseat mat...
I’m a Ford guy. Love the next gen F150 coming out soon. But these pics of the Bronco remind me of a toyota. I’m Very happy with my new Wrangler Recon. Ford does a good job with the turbo engine. I loved my 2016 3.5 Turbo F150. But wouldn’t trade back for anything.
Maybe the noise cancelling system on my Recon is making me think these Falkens are slightly quieter than my work truck KO2s. But when radio is completely off is when I listen closely. There is a kinda loud hum from day one with my KO2s that I just dont get with these Falkens. But either way...
Ordered 5/13. Delivered to my door 7/3. My first Jeep ever. Coming from an F150. This is the nicest vehicle I’ve ever owned. I love everything about it. I’ve got KO2s on my Chevy 4x4 company truck and I think these Falkens are slightly quieter. No issue with them at all.
