Hi all. Bought a used 2004 TJ this summer as a fun/hobby trial and love it so much I bought a 2021 JLU Rubicon XR. Getting my feet wet with some modding. Planning to DD and take off-road/OHV in SW MO. Looking forward to meeting fellow Jeepers.

Thanks for the welcome. Your CJ5 is my Birth year. I'll have to look at your profile to see a pic. Had a chance to buy a CJ5 about 7-8 years ago but it needed a lot of work and my wife reminded me I needed to finished other projects before I started a new one

Just got back into a Jeep for the first time in 4 years. My last was a 2004 TJ Rubicon. Yesterday I picked up a 2020 JL Unlimited Rubicon with 6-Speed Manual.

I had forgotten how unrefined these beasts are, even in this latest generation. It's just...perfect. In an ocean of automobiles that feel increasingly numb and lifeless, even proud of how little driver engagement is required to drive them, the Jeep is like an artifact from previous, more analogue era. It makes me feel something. It forces me to engage. The Wrangler has a purity to it that reminds me a lot of the Mazda MX-5 Miata in the sports car world. Focused and unapologetic about what it is, and what it isn't.

So happy to be here with you fine folks!

Another happy new Jeep owner. It is a 2021 JLU Sport S in Sarge Green. Came with the dealer installed Mopar 2" lift and 35's. It's been 30 years since I had even ridden in a jeep and glad to see they ar improved but still the same in the good ways.

Can't wait to learn from all the knowledge on here.
