People always gave me crap about mine as well.
I think I may go with the flat hook variant this time around.

I wish I didn’t know that. Now all I can see is a binky.

Finally lifted, got new tires and wheels...
Basic Specs:
Nitto Ridge Grapplers 35in
Black Rhino Overland 17in
Rough Country Suspension Lift 2.5in

Everything fit like a glove. No rubbing and ride is smooth... It does feel like im carrying alot of weight when driving hahaha..
They fit well though !! I have 35's on mine and have no issues with get-up-and-go ,,,plenty of power

Oh a TJ :D I wanted one back in 2001 but couldn't afford it :(
There were a few there. I still love them, they feel like a toy driving around town with the 6spd.

Today was a busy day for the Jeep. We took the doors off for the first time, I put some protective film around the interior door bolt to prevent scratches during removal/installation, installed all weather floor mats, put some foam tape around the included Jeep ratchet so it won’t scratch the doors, installed tie down rings on the hardtop bolts, and last but certainly not least did some undercoating.

I changed the antenna because I’m not a fan of the thin silver one it came with.

I was going to add a new plate cover but they sent me a chrome one instead of the black I ordered.
How are those boards?

You are, but it shouldn't be a solid rubber plug. It should be a drain valve.

Actually now that I'm looking into it, I think the auto drains are located somewhere else.

The side steps? They have been great for me, I’m pretty short (5ft2in) and with my lift and 35s I find them absolutely necessary. This Jeep is my everyday driver that replaced my mom car so I use it daily for all 4 of my boys and myself. For the kids and I we heavily rely on them, so much that I installed them within 2 hours of getting my JL. They are heavy duty, easy to install, visually pleasing and fit the JL perfectly. I highly recommend these Roam Offroad side steps.
