What did you do TO your Jeep JL today?

How did the install? Easy as people say it is?

I’m not sure what people say but certainly need to have the right tools and more.

Also I did this on my own so it would help to have another friend in my opinion. It was the first time I’ve ever done anything like this so those that have previous experience under their jeeps could probably do it much quicker. If I can do it anyone can.

People always gave me crap about mine as well.
I think I may go with the flat hook variant this time around.

@Cody6597 you and I probably have the same skill level. I'm debating on trying this on my own. The web site says 2-3 hours...wondering if that is the number of labor hours my local shop would charge (@$90/hr). If that's the case...the peace of mind might be worth $270 for the install.

Just remember to leave enough overspray to start the peel off. Also needs to be thick enough or else it won’t peel... so about 3-5 coats. Honestly I was drinking and it may have been more as I was spraying coats in between doing other things.

Thanks! Its a trektop pro. Loved it for the flip up rear glass. I always used the trunk area on my 2dr and having zip up windows was a pain....

Meh. Most people don't even know what a winch is, so I don't care what they think. This thing will do its job, and not cost much weight when it is sitting there. I also like the way it protects the fairlead.

Only 3 JL's, 50+ JK's

Finally lifted, got new tires and wheels...
Basic Specs:
Nitto Ridge Grapplers 35in
Black Rhino Overland 17in
Rough Country Suspension Lift 2.5in

Everything fit like a glove. No rubbing and ride is smooth... It does feel like im carrying alot of weight when driving hahaha..

Finally got good weather. Top off and ready to go for a ride

Looks sexy. I ordered my Smittybilt Hard Top Hoist yesterday. I’ll send updates once I install it and remove the top.

Installed my Wifes wheel/tire setup(17x8.5 ProComp 5034, and 35x12.50r17 Goodyear Fierce Attitude)
Also installed the Mopar reinforcement plate and RC relocation bracket. I cut a hole in the Pro Comp center cap for the camera to poke through.

That’s one sexy Wrangler. Nice combination.
