Looking for a set of 285/75/17 and it seems the KO2 only come in an e rating for that size. The ridge grapplers do come in a C but are $ more a tire.

My main concern is comfort, will the grapplers in a C be noticeable compared to the KO2 in an E?

E's will definitely ride stiffer than C's. Any reason for not going with the c-rated 285/70-17 ko2's, other than the slight height difference?

I ran the RG's in 285/70/17 in load C for about 25K on a 5th Gen 4Runner and they were a very nice ride on road and did pretty darn good off road. Never had them in ice or snow so cannot comment on that.

Before I came back to the Jeep family I ran KO2s on my 5th Gen 4Runner TRD Off Road. Nice riding tire. Good in the light off roading I did. No complaints. That said next week I’m adding 35 12.50 RG’s on my JLUR. Just like the tread pattern better where I live now in N. GA. Was in FL with 4Runner.
