^ sorry, newbie question here - the mounting points for the light bar and the spot light, are those pre-existing on our Jeeps, or did you have to cut through metal, etc.?

Those are pre-existing and have bolts through them so you just have to take those bolts out and then line up the mounts and re-bolt^ sorry, newbie question here - the mounting points for the light bar and the spot light, are those pre-existing on our Jeeps, or did you have to cut through metal, etc.?

There's a JL specific, basic mounting kit available somewhere on the net. I forgot where I ordered it. Wasn't expensive, something like $20. But the pro kits are here.^ sorry, newbie question here - the mounting points for the light bar and the spot light, are those pre-existing on our Jeeps, or did you have to cut through metal, etc.?
Wow... thank you for this info/link. So if I'm understanding this right, I buy the mount (first) and the corresponding light kit I prefer (does Artec make them too?) then install the mount first on my JL, then attach the light to it?There's a JL specific, basic mounting kit available somewhere on the net. Essentially yes. You don't always have to buy the corresponding light mount kit to accompany the light but it ensures a good fit. Then once you have the light mounted then its time to wire it and thats itWow... thank you for this info/link. Quite easy actually. Just 9 bolts and I have a Toplift Pro that helps me remove the top by myself and also stores the top up and out of the way. Definitely recommend the Toplift Pro! The soft top is really not difficult to put on, but the official instructions are not great. There is a good post on this forum that show the process in pictures.how difficult was the transition? as far as removing the hardtop. Spring WILL come on day, i just KNOW it.![]()

My white car never looked like that. of course it wasn't slinging the mud up on the sides either. that being said, this is black Wrangler #4, so don't think I could break traditionBut isn't white even more "problematic" with dirt?
