Everything is warrantied through the Jeep dealership and I am at there mercy, seemingly? They told me that the clunking sound was from the spring rubbing something. The service agent probably got confused from what the tech told him? This thing is supposed to go down the trail silently not clunking... Should I advise them on options because they are telling me the 2 inch lift for my vehicle can no longer be purchased due to this problem and that the mopar engineers are working on a fix or they maybe they are fos.
To add, the suspension wont be silent offroading, there will be creaks and noises the whole time

Well.......that makes more sense. They said bumper as in bump stop. Thats a really bad bow! I just installed a belltech lift and noticed a slight bow but nothing like that!!! It can be easily fixed though so you shouldn't worry much. Just need to spring isolators as others have said.

Thats incredibly excessive, the correction pad will help but may not fix that enough, could be a spring error. Thats probably the worst bow one ive seen

Youll be okay to drive it, the spring cant go anywhere. it would bother me personally and id try to fix it asap. With some correction pads and measure for centerness of axle. But its going to make noise for sure off of that bump tube

They put the upper isolator in right? Are the little nubs sticking out of the top of the spring perch? The upper ones have a slight taper shape to them and can cause a tiny bit of bow too. Just curious if its slipped off the side of that or something too

At worst the springs paint is going to get all scratched off, or the spring could possibly retain that bow shape a slight bit if left too long

That’s what I’m thinking. Seems like the whole spring became unseated.

Correction pads you definitely need though,i can see it crushing the edge of the bottom isolator a bit, and the stock ones have a raised section on the back side towards the frame to keep the spring from hitting the frame but it creates an unwanted spring bow they are cheap and will help the most. Highly reccomend

Could just be a spring issue too, but i know those isolators will bow aftermarket springs as well
