I’m about to pull the trigger on the Metalcloak 3.5 kit and wondering if this is needed?

Hi,
I have a 2020 Rubicon. At 7000 miles we installed a Metalcloak 3.5" Rocksport kit without replacing or upgrading the coil correction pads, and everything has been fine.
I was advised that the pads were helpful when working with the early runs of the JL series, but the situation with the recent OEM parts had been somehow improved. It was also suggested that the replacement pads can be helpful on a high mileage install where the OEM parts are simply worn out.
I do not know what is or is not accurate, but I do know my install seems fine on the ground with out the swap. We have also had the Jeep up on the CTI trailer and looked at everything in detail, without raising any concern about the decision to work with the original pads.
Good luck.
