Should I add remote proximity keyless entry??

Ordered a 2021 JLU Sahara....have time to add options if I want.

What are owners thoughts on remote proximity keyless entry? Should I add it? My current vehicle has it and I do use it, but I added lots of options to my JLU and figured I needed to draw the line somewhere.

Would appreciate any comments.

My Grand Cherokee has it and my Wrangler does not. Like you, I was trying to draw the line somewhere. I chose poorly and am now shopping for parts to do the retrofit.
Proximity keyless sounds like something you can live without - but once you get used too it, it's hard to dig out the key fob to unlock.

I absolutely love mine. I hate having to pull the keys out of my pocket to unlock the truck. I had a rental wrangler for work that didnt have it and drove me up the wall

I agree. My previous 3 vehicles had proximity key and my current JLU doesn't until my parts come in that I have on order to add it myself....

Take the doors off. You will never need the proximity locks.

I like it on my Challenger, but haven't found I miss it or wished I had it on my Wrangler.

Was one of my favorite feature on a few, vehicles I had. Had a few without since and it was a monitory must for me on my wrangler order. (Was included, but it would have been a mandatory must for me either way.) Nothing beats it when your hands are full, and you can just open up your vehicle instead of fumbling around for your keys.

Wish I had it on mine. Feel weird when all my other cars have it and when getting into my Jeep, I keep forgetting to unlock using my key fob.

You can add it after the fact. Prepare to wait for parts though.

I really didn't care either way when I was first looking to order, but now that I have it I really like the option.
