Maybe put it in the title of the thread? I still don't know that people will read it, or the thread will be inundated with questions like: When will tracking open again? Can you make an exception?

It literally says that tracking can be opened at the beginning of next month... maybe specify on what month, if still relevant, or if forever closed.

I was merely putting my info in here for the next month... if this is not a legit post anymore then delete it, dont be a dick. Say what you mean and mean what you say

I really don't know how much more I can add to the first post so it is understood.

I would update it to say it is now cost $20 for the tracking or whatever you are going to charge. Currently it still says it is free. But yeah not sure not sure how much clearer you can be.

I honestly did not read it as a dick response. Some will respond as a dick but this seems more of a generic response.

I do think the other suggestion of being specific of when this will open again. Such as It will open again in May 2018. Not a specific date but at least a specific month and year.

It was more or less the amount of poor responses... such as "what am I supposed to do with this" or "I really don't know how much more I can add to the first post so it is understood."

well first of all, if there is a price, edit the post and put a price, same with the date, same with any of that... and if this is an annoying topic for you, or a hassle, pass it off to someone else or close the post...

Because to be honest, I am not going to read 693 pages of post to see if it is still going on. And if that is the type of crap that this forum is going to provide, then i can easily delete and move on with my life... Was only trying to check things out, maybe get a tracking order on my jeep, and maybe meet some cool local people, but so far... i have gotten a shit attitude and bad taste from this forum

Yea i mean I know I just ordered it, and dealer said 6-8 weeks, but i already have parts on order I am so excited haha... I used to work with a jeep aftermarket parts company and have loved the wranglers for a long time, but finally decided to chose between a new JL and a Mustang.... well obviously I am here so you know which way I went.

Believe me I know the frustrations from some people in forums, but if you can see it is a newbie, just explain what you just did really quick and move on, or as the originator did already today, edit the post title to explain better.

All good though, look forward to exchanging some jeep waves with some of you

First off I wasn't trying to be a dick. If you look at my post history, hopefully you can tell I am here to try and be helpful and have fun. That said, I was simply trying to give a suggestion as to how to make it clearer that the tracking is currently closed. If I offended you, I'm sorry.

bthorn - while you may have already read this, i'll post in case you didn't catch it. How it works is that when the pay for service opens up, a new thread will be created and the first X who post with von and order date on THAT thread and pay the rate, will be added to tracking.... it's somewhat confusing because it started as a free service, but then reached max capacity. in response to popular demand, a paid service add on was created.... to cover the resources required to do the work i believe.... so the evolution and yes as you mention, the 10, 300+ posts, definitely can create some confusion.... good luck and watch close so you can be one of those added to the paid service.... i think it's worth it, but i haven't gone D1 yet, so .....

Sigh ... just took a step back! All info below from my dealer:

• Ordered 2/19 (47 days ago)
• VIN and D status 2/20
• Went to D1 on 3/15 (with an estimated date of 4/6)

Today (04/06) dealer advises I'm now showing back in D status.
