I’m looking for new LED headlights with some sort of good DRL LEDS. Not looking to spend over $500 unless necessary. I have been looking at Oracle, Quake and Lumen on carid.com

Please send any recommendations or info on what do absolutely avoid

Thx in advance for any help.

You want DRL in the headlight (i.e. halos), or led DRL in the fenders?

If you don't care about halos, I put in a pair of Beamtech LED replacement bulbs in my halogens housings, which are close in light output to the factory LEDs in my other JL when comparing low beams. There is a bit more of a hotspot and a bit more falloff compared to the OEM LEDs, but you really have to scrutinize it to tell the difference.

The high beams do have a big difference compared to OEM. The factory LEDs "expand" the low beams upward, leaving the low beam illumination unchanged. The Beamtech bulbs have two sets of led chips and the lows turn off when the highs turn on... This moves the overall illumination upward, but due to the falloff I mentioned earlier, it makes the near illumination dimmer, though, still brighter than halogens - but it can take a few seconds for my eyes to adjust to the hotspot moving from near to far.

For $40 on Amazon, it's hard to argue with the value. I haven't had anyone flash their highs at me once aimed correctly (well, besides that one time I had a hitch mounted cargo rack loaded with five wheels & tires).

I was looking for new headlights with Halos, but your option sounds intriguing. Do you have links you can send?

Sorry for the not-really-pointing-straight side by side... My driveway is sloped and my Jeeps aren't the same height/lift. You can see the Beamtech bulbs on the left, OEM on the right. There's a bit more drop-off and the cutoff is not as sharp. I have the Beamtech bulbs aimed down a bit aggressively, but I realistically could bring them up a bit. I don't have any complaints about the throw where I have them now though.

First photo is low beams, second photo is high beams. You can see where the highs are dimmer in the near area(low), but they're super bright where you want them to be.

If you are looking for LED BULBS, I would suggest viewing this video below. It is a comparison video for our brand VS Amazon brand. Happy to answer any questions you may have about our product or services!
