I know the feeling I ordered my Rubicon 6 weeks ago this coming FridayIt will be 6 weeks on this upcoming Thursday since I placed my order. (They told me 4 week eta but I"m not naive, I knew it would be longer) I"m trying to be patient but I sold my JK Rubi already and driving the husbands vette.. I know , why am i complaining? But I already miss having a jeep lol. I have e-mailed both Mariana and Antonio (they have not contacted me once first, but have always replied to my emails) for ETAS, but nothing yet. Jeep Chat also shows nothing. Come on JEEP!!!
Hey guys. Brand new member and this is my first post. Wanted to get everyone's opinions as i am trying to buy my very first Wrangler. My hopes are to get a 2018 JL Ocean Blue color. I live in South Florida and dealers out here arent willing to go below invoice. I did come accross a dealer who offered me 6% under msrp. I am going to attach the build out sheet here and gage some feedback from you guys to see if this deal is fair or even worth it. Not sure how to read the sheet to be honest but the dealer is giving me the jeep for the FWP price plus 1%. Not sure what the FWP price is. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Is this a vehicle on the dealer lot or are you Special ordering it? If it’s on the lot it might not be a bad deal. Dealers haven’t been discounting them much. If you are special ordering it then it’s not a good deal. The FWP is dealer invoice and they are charging you 1% OVER dealer invoice. You can do a search and find lots of deals that are 5% or 6% UNDER dealer invoice. You didn’t mention if there are any dealer processing fees. That is important to know too. I’ve seen prices range from $100 to $599 so find out that number. Also a side point: are you really sure you want the 6 spd?
I didn't ask for processing fees yet. Sorry I'm new to all this. You guys have been awesome with all this information. In reference to the 6 spd.. all my cars have been stick and thought why not get my JL the same. Wow. Awesome and not a bad drive either. Not that good of a deal if it’s a special order. I live in Miami and placed my order with Debbie at Beck Jeep in Palatka (5 hours north more or less) for 5.3% under invoice (under that FWP number).
It’s hard to find these deals in South Florida. All the dealers want MSRP or more. Traveling north is the answer.Wow. Awesome and not a bad drive either.
The transmission is certainly personal preference but I think the majority would agree that the new 8 speed automatic is better for both on road AND off-road applications. Hopefully more experienced Jeep owners will chime in!I didn't ask for processing fees yet. Sorry I'm new to all this. You guys have been awesome with all this information. Do you have an ETA on yours yet? Is it the 2.0 Ltr that’s holding it up? I’m still waiting for Mojito but will be contacting your guy in Shorwood, IL when it can be ordered. It’s between him and Jim Marsh in Las Vegas.I paid 6
